im sorry for the phrasology. im not a computer guy. first forum ever and not too helpful thus far. crawlers and nitro dont mix ok.

Hey guys, this is a somewhat interesting project. I am not a nitro fan, but lets try and help him out. I have half a dozen maxx trucks and so do alot of other members here. Lets see what we can do for him!

Wild shot in the dark idea here:

If you really want a low ratio, and do not mind making some stuff, you could adapt a new emaxx tranny to the tmaxx. That way you could use the optional wide ratio 2 speed setup. It gets a low gear in 1st, very low. You would have to make up some sort of mech brake mount. And would not have reverse, and would need to add a shift servo if you wanted to use high and low gears.

Sounds interesting to me...
