When running on tarmac (high grip) you can sometime notice that the ESC does not perfectly go to freewheeling (very short drop in rpm when releasing throttle). This behavior was more noticeable with a Neu 1515 when compared to a Neu 1512.

The ESC has two car modes. Forward, brake, reverse or only forward and brake.

Have a look at the video in my signature to see it it perform in a 11lbs truggy.

The new Jive ESCs from Kontronik are even more powerfull. They feature an integrated switching BEC (up to 12s) and are waterproof. But they only have one car mode: forward with brake.
I can live without reverse. Any good place to buy Kontronics?
