just curious if you tried a lipo battery as a comparission to the a123? certanlly for racing?

There is a difference in total Fet's Rdon between MM and MMM, but such drop (60A vs 85A) I would relate to power connectors. Unless battery and motor wires were soldered in both cases.
Simplified calc, due to similar (close to be identical) setup: 16V/60A=0.267Ohms 16V/85A=0.188Ohms 0.267Ohms-0.188Ohms=0.079Ohms -> too high value for Fet's difference (5 vs 6 Fet's, even if only one is good). While 10-30mOhms for connectors is normal. Temperature wise both ESC's and motor were close to each other, right? |
