Shaun, I'm done with my build ... for now . I had been beating the crap out of it and so far, I had been lucky except for a broken tranny output shaft.

It looks like a stress fracture on the diff output shaft's hole where it has the least amount of material which leads me to my hunch that either the axle was "forced" to rotate, very tight slipper, you had been mashing on the throttle or a combination of any of the three .

Anyway, using plastic drive shafts will help since it will twist the shaft first before it breaks the diff output shaft. The diff output shaft that comes with the hybrid revo diffs looks like a cut up version of the stock revo diff outputs. I made some of those by cutting the stock outputs (Tmaxx/emaxx).
