The hyper 7/8/8.5 have a 43/13 diff ratio. The one you linked which is from a Hyper ST has a 43/10 ring to pinion tooth count.

George16, I'm not trying to be a pinhead, but neither of these come with pinions as neither ad shows or mentions pinions as included.

Both are 43t ring gears, so is there a difference? Is the ST 43t ring gear any diff than the 43t hyper 7/8/8.5? If there is a difference, I'd def like to know. I guess what I'm asking is the "crown gear" part number the same for both? I know 1:1 diffs it wouldn't be different, but just don't know the ins and outs of these well enough to know.

Did a little checking online with manuals - they are not the same part numbers, so they are different even though they have same tooth count. Thanks for saving me from finding that out the hard way George16!!

One last ques - what does the 8 spyder diffs come in?? Haven't found those yet. Thanks!!
