Alright, sounds like FLM for alloy and RPM for plastic are the way to go.

Now how do you think they compare in terms of durability? Bling appart, will the alloy be tougher or is it the hard plastic? If the best is a mix of alloy and plastic as I expect to hear, which part should be RPM and which part would be best in alloy?

the RPM parts arent harder than the stock parts but more flexable and less likely to break(gthis happens when you crash) I like them as A arms, shock towers, front bumper...and you can use them instead of the FLM if you want to keep weight down
