I shattered an 8xl rotor in similar fashion. Too hard from brake to reverse, backflip action, and the rotor shattered. It may or may not have had an issue when you got it. Bummer.

Hope the 8xl from Linc fixes you up. That's awful nice of you Linc, where are you when I blow all my stuff up?! lol.

Nope, the 9xl is toast as well though. Death by overheating. I feel I am done with feigao's. I can't seem to make one last long enough to be worth it. I will be giving medusa a shot and see how that works out, and then the castle built neu when it shows up on the shelves.

Thanks for the kind words, if you had not defined "hedersknyffel" I may have wondered if you were calling me a bad name...

You guys must be hard on them, or just get them really hot (overgeared). I have never had a feigao go over 170 and never lost a magnet.

Jason that motor was nice!

as long as the magnets arent shattered, can i somehow reattach them to the shaft?

You can jb weld the magnets back on, but you must have them lined up correctly to each other... I have not done this, but others here have...
