Looks to me like the girl on the phone read the numbers wrong, so she had the same motor in her hand. I am sure that the price was marked on it, so she just relayed that over the phone. So the mistake was hers, and probably had nothing to do with the price. The fact you can still use it for you application is great. The cost difference between a 1512 and a 1515 new are no that much. I do not see this as stealing. The motor may have been a test motor, or a repaired motor that had very little use and a caring first owner.

I recently bought a neu from a forum member for $100 bucks. It had a loose shaft, and he offered it to me for that price. I shipped it back to neu and they fixed it for me free of charge and returned it to me. So I also have a 1515 for $100 and do not feel like I stole it...

If Neu accidentall refunded your money for the motor, I would call them about that, otherwise I would enjoy the motor!

btw what are using the motor in rootar?

i knew exactly what had happened, i had called about 3 weeks ago asking if they had any testers or rebuilt ones forsale, but they didnt have any at the time so i shelled out and bought mine from mike, but mine is the new updated version, with bigger bearings, flatspot on shaft, and thicker screwed on endbell, (basically a teckno version but black with holes in the ends.)

im using mine in an Xray 8xb on a 5s 5000 flightpower pack

if i was you id keep it these are awesome 5s and 6s motor from what i understand, but on 4s they arent quite as "explosive"

i feel the only thing lacking is voltage. 3s is a little low for a revo. 4s min i woudl say. But if you are saying 2 of those above than YES they will be fine. I just got a set of 2s (4s total) true rc and run them with a 15151y in a hyper 7 and they dont even get hot, barely warm and NO PUFFING. great lipos for the money.

Give the guy a chance. He is obviously not dishonest as he came on here honestly seeking advice. I am sure he will make an effort with neu and all will be well.

What do you mean with this? Do they sell motors that were not 100% perfect? And you can get them cheaper than normally?

Sorry my Englisch sucks like hell
