Been running a 7XL in my E-Maxx on 4s for a few months now.
Heat can be an issue.
Not sure about running your gearing, but it might be better with a MMM than the MM I am using. I've been running 22/62 and it seems like about as high as I would gear it. When it gets hot(and it will), the motor starts to cog enough to make lower speed driving not that fun and higher speed driving just makes it worse, so you hafta either stop n chill or drive easy for a bit.
Like I said, the MMM may correct some of that.
If you're using 8th scale diffs, your gearing might work, but otherwise, you might want to pick up a larger spur just in case.
