I'am gear for about 41 m/h. When i've run it on the street somes days before, i've never exceed 130 on the motor and ESC, and about 86 on the li-po.

But this week-end, on the send pit, with lot of WOT in a very soft sand, and multiple hill climbing, i've take the temp after about 15 minutes of realy hard bashing, and it was 165 on the motor and ESC, but the li-po never exceed 100.

Is this to high for Neu motor????

I'am plan to gear it down 2T on the pinion for the next sand pit bashing session

But this day was realy funny, and i can easily kick the ass of a Losi eight-T truggy with an OS 28XZ in it

Thank you!
Good temps,

Run it and have fun, your temps are fine. Running on soft sand adds a pretty heavy load to the system. Everything in it will run a bit hotter than on the street.

I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...

OK thank you all, i think that i'll keep my actual gearing (24/62, i run the V2 hybrid buggy ratio), because i have try the 22T pinion, and my truck seam to have a realy noticable drop in power

Maybe it is because the motor have less load on it , do you think that,s a reason why it seam to not pull as hard as when i have the 24T pinion
