Lucias i have just been contemplating the same thing , i'm going with a 200mm pan car . There are a few out at the moment with more being released as we speak as this class is gaining popularity .

They can fit any 200mm touring car body or sports car body , very simple design , easy to set up and alot cheaper to race than touring cars .
Modified pan car set up correctly will out run a touring car everytime and handle great even though it is 2wd.

I will be running my pan car on an outdoor track which is very smooth and lots of grip.

I'm going with this BMI car the DB10R , it's designed for 7.4v lipos or 4 cell nimh

I'm in Australia and no one my way runs these so that forum i linked is very helpfull. Jason from BMI is always on there and offers alot of help on set up and parts support
