I used to run an MM/1515 1.5d/f combo in my 1/8 truggy. Never had a problem. I now use the mmmV2 (it's still alive), but I don't see that it offers a huge advantage over the MM. I had the holes in my case and a fan on my MM. No failures for almost a full year of twice-a-week racing. During the indoor season, I ran without fan for 5-minute races and never thermalled.

I hear about these holes in the case. Could you explain or better yet provide a picture? Thanks
