you live in Az and you are wondering why your motor runs hotter in the summer.....Hmmm... I would expect those temps my 1515/2.5d runs at least that when its 100+ degs outside

Actually its not very bad here right now. Sierra Vista has a much higher elevation than Phoenix, its cooler here by an average of 15* in the summer, and today it was only about 85 out. (mostly humid, makes it seem worse)

they say the same about Tucson...they blame the cement in the downtown area of Phoenix for retaining heat...and when I travel north to Flagstaff and Payson you can feel the difference, you will be traveling, it will be hot than it suddenly cools off...its kinda like hitting a wall.
We have a bunch of monsoon storms lately...Thursday night we had winds approaching 100mph and it poured

And also I am running 12 cells Ni-MH and soon 4S Lipo. I just did another run right after it rained here and it stayed quite a bit cooler.
