what guage wire are you using? it looks like 16 guage in the picture next to the 8 guage on the li-pos, and that doesn't look like sillicone wire either. without sillicone wire, if the guage is too small and the current is too high, the insulation might melt... and that would not end well.

Is that 10ga? It looks similar to the polyquest XQ packs, which I heard used 8ga to help counter the higher cell resistance.

I thought it was big for 10guage, maybe they should use copper tab cells instead, maybe solder with a little silver mixed in? imo that's a better plan

and I think the zippy li-pos use china cells, polyquest is an enerland pack
