I've had pretty good luck with the CM36 motors. The 4600 in my e-Jato runs perfectly with cool temps on 2s even geared high. And I'm running 10 NiMH cells on the 5700 in my Slash, but it does get warm (yeah, I know this isn't good, but it's just for the time being ). The only trouble I have with the CM36 motor is the 4600 I'm using in my CRT.5; geared low, things get too hot for my liking (~160-170*F). It's probably technically "ok", but everything else I have runs no higher than 140-150*F.

Forgot to mention

All of the Castle/Neu motors will be Y winds. We decided to optimize the magnet for the Y wind, and not use a compromise to allow both Y and D winds.

Y winds are a little tiny bit more efficient than D winds.
