I got a replacement v2 thats been working great . I hit the lipo cutoff today and it slowed down like a normal cutoff then just died. Steering worked normal but the yellow light on the esc was flickering really dim.. Weirdest thing is when I would pull the trigger on the remote it was controlling the fan. I could rev up the fan LOL... Waited 10 minutes put in charged packs and it seems to work now.. Is that a normal lipo cutoff or is something up. Why would the trigger control the fan?
Thats what mine was doing when I first hooked everything up! It wouldn't control the motor at all, just rev up the fan, lol. I updated the firmware and all was good. I've never hit the hard cutoff with mine though, when it slows down I bring it in.
Yeah I would assume most people dont hit the hard cutoff but mine is set fairly high to save the bats a little. This is the first time I ever hit it so im just not sure if this is normal
well i had that issue i updated the castle link software and it changed my cutoff to 32 volts or something rediculus and the fan would come one.......
now here is my question your battery is dying why is the fan coming on at full speed once it is dead wont that drain the battery more then needed. i think there is a issue but hey what do i know
