Early days and tempting fait for sure but over this weekend I finally had chance to run 3MMM’s v2:

- I ran a full pack of hard bashing (lots of crashes) though my G-Revo setup MMM 6s2p A123 1515 2.5D 5955TG with no issues
- Two packs of track, bashing and torture test (full throttle, full break repeat x 20 on tarmac) X1CR setup MMM 4s 1512 1Y 5955TG with no issues
- Two packs of track and bashing Hyper ST Pro setup MMM 4s 1515 1Y 7955TG with no issues

All of the got up to temp enough for the internal fan to run. I would add that all are running an UBEC, switches have been removed, telfon washer and heat shrink added to fan.

If you check the CC threads CC have repeatedly said they think this still might be setup related in some manner and are in the process of collating and testing machines that have repeated failures. At this point I'm not sure what more they can say until they have actually concluded the testing.

Fan mod is simply a teflon washer superglued into the middle of the fan case.

IMG: Care of Jeff

The heatshrink is on the fan lead to avoid it rubbing against the PCB.
