Set me start off saying how inconsistent my parents are...VERY!

Here is the conversation from WEEKS AGO:

Me: Hey dad did you see the flyer i left in your room?

Dad: Yeah, that rc thing? you plan on going?

Me: If my truck is together and you let me

Dad: Maybe, is this a track thing or just a get-together

Me: Its a race, at a track in New York

Dad: where at in New York?

Me: southern tip, not far from the border

Dad: have you ran that thing anywhere but the front yard and up the street?

Me: No (here comes the denial-i thought)

Dad: well you need to have some sort of shakedown- no sense traveling up to new york just to have the truck fall apart, anywhere local you could try it?

Me: Ah, ok- there is this Bmx course over in lumberton (next town over, 10 min drive)

Dad: you think it would we worth wild going there first....

Me: yeah




So then today-actually 10 minutes ago my mom walks in (day before they leave for a cruise) and asks what im planning to do tommorow, i say that im going to test my truck, and she starts shaking her head no.. So now im confused, and i ask her why not... she says "your father already told you that were not going" now im getting kind of upset because i have been planning this for months now... and i say " he said i have to test the truck first-not that i couldnt go- well from what i heard was that you guys already had this convo and decided not to go.... your not going..



WTF!


This just annoys the shit out of me ( pardon my language) im typing quite angrily right now.... just dont understand why lead a person on... i just dont see the logic in it besides "they are my parents they can and will do that out of nowhere" so guys ill have to sit this one out...

Someone should have a spring bash around april or may, i get my license march 16th so any time after that i will be good..

Ok here is my situation. My Aveox's shaft came loose, my 6 pole's magnet took a dump and the Mega I bought might not be here on time. I also bought a 1515/2Y, but it's the finned version and will have to see when it gets here so I can dremel some of the fins out to make it fit. I have another 6 pole wonder, but it's only 60mm long and I'm not sure if it'll be that great. Let's see what happens in the next few days.

Got the 36-60 6 pole in the truck now. Going out on Monday to test it out.

Yes, but with 8S lipos I would like to keep my RPMs bellow 40,000. I'm going as I have a 1515/2Y coming and if everything else fails, Jeff will let me use his motor set to low Kv.

I know. I also came to find out that all the Hacker clones don't really like me, even when they are treated with the most care and not being abused. I'll still be there to try and keep up with all of you. The only problem is that I sold all my tool boxes and all I'm bringing will be a few lipos, one charger, power supply, a few tires, a few tools and 3 vehicles, but only 2 will be running.
