They won't be running a lot though. I'm only going to use them for speed runs. They will be shipped out today and I've just heard the 1.5T is a first for Novak so I have a one of a kind . The 2.5T has been done before .

If all goes well, will you also be bringing in that 200 amp sensored/sensorless controller as well as your two other models?

I can't wait to see video of these motors. Should be really fun.

Yes, that's my plan.

Neato, sounds good. I've always wanted a sensored/sensorless controller that would run cool, didn't cost an arm and a leg, and could handle at least 3s.

The factory said they can be programmed to handle more lipos if the BEC is disabled. The BEC on the 100A and 200A can handle 3S lipos.

FWIW, ALL linear BECs will have the same efficiency ratings, and as such, should be disabled when running over 2s (so 3s, and higher).

Just going by what the factory has told me. They said the BEC is good with 3S.

I run my MM with 3s w/ & w/o bec and i don't notice a difference in temps. I've also ran my novak hv max off a single 4s pack with and without bec and have not noticed any difference in temps. Could be the servos im using however. Cheap servos have always worked great for me.

The 2 custom Novak HVs will be here today and I'll be posting pictures of them. It should be cool to have the first ever HV1.5 and the 2 known in existance HV2.5 motors . I'm going to rub this in here for a while .
