could it be the moisture in the air from all the rain, since the fan is swirling it all around in there?

I did some more diag last night. It turns on and in a few seconds the lights start to fade and dim...then it's off. I'll bet it's classic BEC failure. Besides, if the moist air was the culprit all the other guys running MMMs should have also had failures...

Can't wait for v3!
