Hay TB, that's what bottle rockets are for anrt they

When i was a kid i build a rocket launcher with a wired launch control panel i used very thing copper wire forming a spiral,(resistance) then let true some amount of current to fuse the wire this ignited the "rockets".
also you might consider an auto destruct mechanism lol

It is fun being an adult, but we have to shave like everyday thou
I like the suggestion about the thin wire (thank you!) that might come in handy..
NO...

there will be NO auto destruct button, I'm moding my GEVO for this and no way in hell will I intently blow it up, but if it does it on it's own, my only wish is the Video is running

You got me thinking about this one, I know I’ve seen something before, maybe it will come to me when I or if I sober up
Thanks for your comments Lincpimp..

Thanks for the find / pull.. I was hoping you would post some of the goodies you know of.

It already has the ability to interface with an R/C signal natively.
For general electronic switch needs, you could try these: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...P?&C=MBZ&V=EMO
They turn the radio pulse signals into actual switched outputs.
You can get servos that do not have a specific range of motion - they act as winches instead. Tower has some but not sure what they would be called...
|
Thank you Brian..

love the general info, I really didn’t know that servo's could do all that.. It should make my life / build go much easier..
Way to much info on the smoke, now it's hard to pick just one system, it's not easy being me.. LOL.LOL.LOL..

INCLUDES: One Smoke-Riter Cartridge w/Ignition Fuse
SPECS: Length: 6" Weight: 6 oz (including light blue wrapper) Diameter: 1-1/2" Fuse length: 2-1/2"
COMMENTS: Smoke release holes must face ground. Smoke is TOXIC. Avoid Prolonged Exposure. Clamps to hold cartridge to the fuselage (try a hardware store).

Hay Jay "what the good word" for me its new cool project. LOL.LOL
No, no new clubs, I just wanted to build something no one else has, I've completed all my RC's and I was looking for a new challenge. So inlue of starting a heli or sub build i decided to build the first fully functional RC battle truck..
Thanks for the kind words sir, if I / we (the team) can pull this off (rockets, fully auto paint balls, smoke, etc) it should be huge and blast to see..
Have a great on Jay and thanks for stopping by and checking it out.. You might want to keep an eye open for further updates in a week or two. (IE) once I get all the parts I ordered..

Hay Andrew..
Thanks for the help.. I'm hoping that between BrianG, Skellyo, Arct1k, Neil, Linc, you, Jery, metalman, gee, TexasSP, Jhultz and few others I / we will be able to pull this one off.
Have a great one Sir and thanks for posting, please don’t stop!..
Shaun.
