Also, what power supply does the UBEC give to the servo? 6V? Does this not drain the batteries quick = less runtime?

I have those servos as well(listed with no picture). I don't think you will get more for the price, but it is no comparison to the TG servo this post was talking about.

Yeh, I would probably go for a more expensive option but I need a new servo this week and I can't afford fast internation delivery.

You won't see a difference in run time nick. It is 6v to the servos.
If the supply falls below 6v it goes to bypass.

on a slightly different topic. i got an emaxx with hs-645mg servo. it works fine but after a while the screw that link the servo gear to the steering handle loosens up and i have to tighten it back to steer again. is this the original intent of the design so the servo won't be damage by hard hits or turns(hitting objects at an angle)? should i buy another servo or steering gears/handle?

is there also an all metal alloy servo available for the emaxx? i thought hs645mg was all metal but when i open it it has one plastic gear and the rest metal.

I have the hs-645 servo on my stock emaxx, it has one of those spring servo horns and it works ok but i just put on some aluminum beadlocks with jumbo claw dawgs on it and it winds the spring alot lol so i'll change the wheels back to something else. im gonna save up for the 333oz servo for my aluminum e-maxx. I thought i might aswell cause after i get that i'll never need another one, and i'll get the supermaxx servo saver :)

645's were used alot in large scale gas (such as FG models) a problem some people had was the EPA... default factory settings were set at 100%..if you your steering jammed for whatever reason then it caused the servo to burn-out, a way around this was to set the EPA (End Point Adjustment) to about 90%

I use Multiplex servos (big red things), no probs with them so far & the torque is very nice, can turn my 1/6 FG MB wheels full lock & very quick while stationary :-)
