Weird that it did it when you switched it OFF, but it is what it is. At this point, you really have nothing to lose by trying to fix it, unless you plan to warranty it (and good luck with that - LVCs don't pull enough current to smoke unless something is seriously wrong).

I know they wont cover it for free it has been well over 30 days.Wonder if thell fix it.What would be a good replacement.
