You have plenty of time to dispute with paypal.. I think you can call USPS but you have to wait until a week after the last due date or something before they will do anything.. Wait it out till Monday, it will show up...

USPS says you must wait 30 days before filing a lost package claim IF you purchased insurance. If not.... dont even waste you time. Its gone.

As for your recourse through.... If you file a claim with paypal they will probably refund your money (provided the seller still has it in their account) if the seller cant product "proof of shipment" which usually means some sort of tracking number or something traceable. Of course if he did ship it then he will be the one getting screwed becasue he will be out the money and the truck.

LESSON HERE: Always ALWAYS ship anything you are not willing to loose with a tracking number and insist on the same from the seller when you buy. It just prevent hassels, or simplifies the solution when/if problems arise.

Paypal will give you money back, and put his balance into negative value if necessary. They always go with the buyer, that is why it is stupid if he did not put delivery confirmation. 75 cents could cost him 170 bucks. His fault...

Weird... I had almost exactly the same situation once and Paypal recover 47 cents of my $140. I had to file a Credit Card dispute and they refunded me my money imeadiately. After that I got a nasty gram from paypal telling me I shouldn't have filed a CC dispute and that I should have worked through them to resolve it. I did... it got me 47 cents... idiots.
