No thankfully the windings look fine - the electromagnets dont appear to ahve any surface damage.

I had a email from Alexander - he suggested using heat resistant epoxy. I will have a go - I am too scared that the magnet fragement may come off and damage the can.

In the end I shelled out $55 to buy a new rotor - I guess living in the UK I dont have the luxury of having a quick turnaround. I think I will stick to my Lehner motors as over here it is faster to deal with Lehner MT.
