Did someone say outrunner? LOL

I for one can testify to the torque of the outrunner. In the experimental direct drive setups that I have built, a 12 pole outrunner with a low (600kv to 1000kv) has enough torque to shatter diffs and even bearings. I'm talking acceleration, not shock from jumping. They can also easily pull gearing that 2 pole motors will smoke over.

When considering torque, think about how many rotational degrees each phase shift is required to turn the armature, often times with close to the same amount of magnetic strength as a 2 pole.

Armature Diameter has a huge impact on torque. It's just a matter of leverage or distance from the magnetic force to the rotational center.

I feel you pain, my old Turnigy 50-55B Would eat up diffs for lunch.

I would still like to see an addon, with adapter with a sensor pack. would definately be cool
