I use a 1521/1Y with 6S lipos and it's basically overkill. The 1515/2.5D mentioned above will do very well and so will the Lehner.

The 1521 1y might be too much for nimh cells. Not to sure what it can draw, but nimhs are not that hot when it comes to higher amp draws. I would stick to the 1515 2.5d, should make more power than the plett maxx. My 1515 1.5d makes more power than my plett maxx, both on 4s lipo.
