0.8mod VS 32pitch pinions, are these the same? - 11.02.2008, 06:20 PM

I have an E-Revo I am trying to set up with a brushless motor that has a 5mm shaft. Thing is, on the Traxxas website it says E-Revo spur gear is 0.8 metric pitch. [Part #3960 Spur Gear, 65-Tooth (0.8 metric pitch)]

I am trying to figure out which 5mm pinion gear I need to buy to match the Traxxas E-Revo spur gear.

To be exact, 32p is Mod 0.79375, or Mod 0.8 is 31.75 pitch. It's really really close - close enough where it does not matter. I've run a 32p pinion on a Mod 0.8 spur in my E-Jato forever with no problems whatsoever.
