A stock e-savage weighs about 9 pounds rtr. Its very small and light. Mine was streached and widened and it came out with the lst shocks at 10pounds 3oz. A 8L and 9 L motors are very popular for the e-savage but the medusa 36x60 would be the best, The e-savage has a very weak drivetrain, so the kbxl motors would be a NO GO. I had a 10l and a 9l in my two. They did well but I belive the medusa motor would be a better choice. I had a 80amp and 120amp mgm escs in mine too. They work like a charm but expensive.

A medusa v2 2000 motor and a castle mm esc+ubec (or mmm and dont need ubec) and a few zippy lipos and you would be set. 40+mph and low heat. Need to get the kershawdesigns diff shim kits or it wont last past a few runs with brushless power.
