I run the 13mm Ofna front buggy shocks on the back of my e-crt.5. The ones I have came stock with (2) 1.4mm holes in each piston. I went as light as 25wt oil and the rebound was good, but there was too much pack in the whoops causing the rear to bounce around. I bought a Kyosho 13mm piston kit (amain part# XRA358035) and now use the 1.5mm hole pistons with 30 wt oil. The rear is much better both in the bumps and on rebound.

What springs are you using? Do you know the rate?
The springs are white...I think they are form the ofna buggy line...not sure. The piston only has 2 holes in it

Those are the same shocks I have and the white pistons are the 1.4mm version. I believe the Ofna/Hongnor white springs are pretty stiff, but I don't have my spring rate chart at home. I'll check my work computer later today.

I don't have the white springs on my chart, but did find another chart on line that listed a Hongnor white spring at about a .85 which is pretty stiff. However, it seems your rebound is too slow so those white springs are probably from some other manufacture and who knows what rate they are.
Don,t worry, start with a 0.6mm, put 40WT oil and try it. If the result is not what you want, re open it, enlarge the hole by .1mm and retry it.
That's what i've did, it take some time but with somes littles Budweiser, it's a nice job to do
Thanks David, and for me...my posion of choice is Coors Light
