IDK about the tubing idea- the smallest wall thickness I can seem to find is 0.028" or about 3/4 mm. Of course, that tubing could be milled down on a lathe to the required diameter.

No biggy man. I wasn't trying to give you a hard time. I was just trying to make a suggestion that may give you other options, so as to avoid having to wait on Mike. We all know how busy he can be. If you have a contact for a local mill shop they may have something on hand that meets your needs, or even make something up pretty quickly and cheaply?? Just trying to think of what I might do in your situation. Hope you find what you need. Good luck with that.
