Once i did that the right screen came up . so i was able to change my resolution . Brian i tried it a 1600 but when i did that it moved the icons to the very edge of the screen were i could barely see them, & it seemed to strecth the inmage to much . So i droped it down to 1280 & they are right on the edge were the should be . Now my screen looks right . Noww i just have to play with the color .

I never said an icon. I specifically said:

Go to your desktop (your main background itself, not the file location)
Right Click on the desktop

The directions were clear to me.

My bad i just reread your directions . i thought you said go to the my computer icon .
