Actually, to be correct, it should be set for 1680 x 1050 (according to the Newegg site). If you set anything other than that, it won't be right (stretching vertically or horizontally).

Depending on the age of your video card, that ratio or high resolution may not be supported. If all the video shifts to one side and nothing else is visible, I suspect either 1) the vid card doesn't support that resolution, or 2) you have to reset the LCD's geometry (v/h alignment/position), or even 3) you have to set the vid card refresh rate to 60Hz, and maybe a combination of 2 and 3...

Sorry for all the confusion and headache - just trying to help you get the most out of your purchase.

I saw some of those settings . but i did not know what they were for . My video card only vent up to 1600 x 1000. I sure wish i had som,e local help .
