Actually, to be correct, it should be set for 16
80 x 1050 (according to the Newegg site). If you set anything other than that, it won't be right (stretching vertically or horizontally).
Depending on the age of your video card, that ratio or high resolution may not be supported. If all the video shifts to one side and nothing else is visible, I suspect either 1) the vid card doesn't support that resolution, or 2) you have to reset the LCD's geometry (v/h alignment/position), or even 3) you have to set the vid card refresh rate to 60Hz, and maybe a combination of 2 and 3...
