If you decide to make them I would think about buying the 2nd one.

Haha... It's been a while since I've been here. Actually, it's been a while since I've done anything with RC cars. I found a guy who wanted a chassis and I designed one but unfortunate circumstances did not allow the project to see completion.

Now I'm designing a race car with a team at UC Berkeley, majoring in mechanical engineering, and having a blast. I don't know if there's much RC in my future, but if someone was legitimately interested in buying a chassis, maybe we could work something out.

That project actually did turn out, Ben. The 1st set got lost by the anodize company(not mine, but the owner who sent it on his own). There were a couple minor errors in the tvp file, and the motor mounts were modified and beefed up a bit as well. I fixed re-made the parts, only to have them returned in the mail (again, the end user left the country and missed the delivery, so they were returned). Funny thing - the new tvps sat here for about 8 or so months and the owner contacted me with a brother here in the states, so delivery was made once and for all about a week or so ago. Someone will be driving that Savage conept one day. :)
I attached a few early pictures of the 1st version(after machining, but before cleaning them up - just a mock assembly). :)
