the new jiveīs have backwards too... i have read it on the manual!!

maybe one of this on a e-revo with a neu will be reliable and a beast!!

i only donīt now if we can connect 4s or more direct like the mmm and without having to do that external bec thing!!!

4s will run, it has a built in BEC. What is the point of spending all that money on a Jive and not going high voltage? I think a jive 80 HV and a neu 1515 2.5y or a mega 22/45/3E would be great for 12s...

The manual states that the car mode is only "one direction" with proportional brake. There is a special mode which has the same effect as if you would switch 2 of the 3 motor cables ... reversing motor direction.

It's a matter of sofware. The jive ESCs do miss the second car mode (which you will find in Jazz ESCs) which had reverse incorporated.
