Bleedin' know-it-all..

If Im right in guessing that this is an enguiry for the Slash's ideal motor, I'd say the medusa 50 or 60mm motor is plenty really.

Every place has at least one!

My Slash had a 5700 running on 10 cells (geared 58/13) and it got kinda hot running it for the ~15 minutes the batteries would last. I recently got a Medusa 36-50-2200 and will run that on 4s 5Ah cells, but am still waiting for other parts to finish it. Once they do, I can get results, but I anticipate good things...

Wow, that's a big pack for a Slash on a 36-50. I'll be running a PolyRC 4S 3700mAh pack in mine on a 36-60-2000 geared for about 43-45mph. I don't expect huge runtimes, but I do hope it will be a bit more agile with a lighter battery pack.

Yeah, it is a rather large pack I suppose. I rewired two seperate 2s packs into one 4s pack because those 2s packs weren't really doing it for me in anything but the jato. I figure I can get a ton of runtime with the relatively HV on a moderate motor geared moderately. And being MA packs, I'm sure they will work much better on a low current draw setup.

You'll be really impressed with that setup, I tried it out geared 9/40 (mod 1 gears) and it was ridiculous. Went back down to 3s, it's a little more controllable now.
