I'm not sure about putting the receiver there, I don't know where I'd mount the antenna, and I like where it comes out of the body now, I'll look into it more when I have more time.

God this thing is fast, I had the cutoff voltage set to 23v for the first 5 runs (A-Main Hobbies recommends draining Li-Pos only half way for the first 5 runs) and i just set it to 18v and it's a freakin beast!!! I still haven't touched full throttle without it flipping over backwards no matter how much space I give it to get up to speed, and this is in the grass too!!!

So how fast is it now do you think?
Maybe off-topic but: I've bought new Rhino LiPos, 11.1V, where should I set the cut-off voltage the first runs? Normally on 9V, but on how many Volt the first runs?
Thanks,
Patrick

They're for my Brushless Vendetta..
So I will set it at 10.5V, and how many times should I run before I can set it to 9.0V?

I just posted in your thread on LST forums aswell. Use an e-revo / slash receiver box and mount it on the front body post where it bolts to the chassis. Works great for me, you only have to drill 2 small holes in the receiver box and you're done. You can still use the stock screws to bolt the body post back on.
edit: added pic (you can also see rc-m battery tray and lt10s esc)

Sorry guys, for some reason I didn't get any email notifications from your posts. My muggy sunk in a creek near my house, the mmm fried but the motor is ok (it's an awesome motor, it would survive an atomic blast). One of the cells on my lipo is puffed, but I can't tell if it's bad or not, because it's not the cell itself that is puffy, but a thin clear coating around it.

Linc should be able to help with the lipo issue
Sunk in a creek though? Where'd you learn to drive?...

hah, it was on the ice on a creek, and I was having alot of fun and there was snow on the ice so there was a good amount of traction and I was sending the fluff flying, but then I hit a patch of ice and slid to the edge of a whole, then I started walking towards it and I heard a cracking noise and then it fell under in like slow-mo.

Fess up - mistakes happen and we all know the castle warranty is great but if you broke it pay up.

I told them the true story only to entertain them and ask if they were working on a waterproof version, then they were like send it in and we'll give you a new one for $70!
