Regarding your comparison between the motors, you are comparing a Hacker L motor to a 1515 which is not a fair comparison. The Hacker L is going to be closer to the 1512, but might be shorter still. Another point I'd like to make - the C50 uses a rotor of smaller diameter than the Neu 15 series.

The current rating between the two motors could very well be arbitrary. For example, Hacker might rate their motor in terms of actual current consumption on a regular basis, where it won't fry if kept at that level for a longer time period. Neu might rate their motors' current specs based on the current level where they are most efficient, which doesn't necessarily mean they could operate at those currents for very long.

this is exactly why i dont understand all the motor ratings. there are too many variables for the data to be compared between different makes. thats why i am wondering if anyone actually has one
