Its ok. I really do enjoy the snow and my motto is "if were going to get snow it needs to be alot of it to make it worth while."

Well, we ended up with about 10" total at my place. It's the heavy, wet-on-the-bottom-so-you-can't-shovel-it kind of snow. Good thing my parents decided to buy a snow thrower at 4:00 PM yesterday afternoon!

I have to work tomorrow at 10:00 AM, so I may be driving through the next storm.

We got a blizzard last night. Not too much snow, maybe 4", but its cold as.... It's cold. It's just below zero now with a killer wind chill but tonight it's supposed to get down to -10 with a -40 -50 wind chill. Winds are 20-45mph.

The wind chill is killer. Had that the kind the other day and it didn't matter how well you were bundled up it just when right through you. I think they said a wind chill of -27 but once it below F***** cold it doesn't matter what temp it is it is just plain F******* cold out! I was talking to another rcm member from so cal and mentioned once you get those temps out of the way there rest of winter seems like a heat wave.

Haha yeah. The temp has been seadily falling and now it's -28 wind chill at the moment. I agree, it'll feel like summer once we get out of this viscious cold. First week af constand +10 will do it.

Yeah. I'm usually good for about 35* before I even need to wear a jacket. If there's wind, then it may be raised to 40*.

Jealous. - 12.21.2008, 10:02 PM

Well I am jealous here in Seoul, Korea. The weather report keeps threatening snow, but it never comes. It is going down to like 7F this evening so there is hope yet. My kids have never really seen a good snowfall before, because they have been living in Orlando and San Francisco all their lives. So they are anxious for us to get some. I am praying for a Merry WHITE Christmas this year to help the kids relieve some anxiety. Since we live on a mil base I don't ahve to worry about going anywhere for anything. We can walk to get just about anything.

The blizzard we got this weekend wasn't too bad. A bad one will be where you can't see across the street, but here is some pics from the blizzard.

Someone wrote a message for me in the snow too.....

Is that... "Merry Christmas"?
Gawd, I can't see it :X

Here in Cali, it's cold as hell, but yet, no snow.
Sigh.

I've always wanted to scoop some ice from the ground and chuck it at a teacher..

Some day... some day...

You should be getting another in a couple days. It just went through Washington asking for direction to South Dakato.

I pointed toward Soeul, I don't think it fell for it though. Sorry Jerry. I hope you get you wish for the kids sake.

Thanks. - 12.22.2008, 10:17 AM

Well thank you for the good wishes. In fact it is now 2300 here in Seoul and it started snowing almost an hour ago. It is coming down pretty good, and the temp is in the low teens tonight, so we are hoping that it keeps snowing throughout thet night here. The kids just went to bed praying for more snow. The little buggers have never really seen a good snow or played in it before either. We shall see what happens in the morning when everyone wakes up. Maybe a white Xmas is in the cards after all. My oldest daughter is flying in from Seattle on the 26th and she is worried about being snowed in there in Washington. From the looks of the news there are a lot of places getting snow this week. Gobal warming!!!!!
