You mean your pinion wore like that against plastic spur?
 Somethings fishy with those pinions, IMO - a decent hardened pinion does not do that even with metal spur. |

Are you sure that your pinion was allright before you put it on place?
The teeth seem deformed and are/seem too thick at the right side (don't fit the spur), hence the noise & wear at spur. |

Well didnt notice anything wrong when it came out of the package, that one there is the 16t and I bought a 15t so when I took it out last night I looked it over and its fine, odd thing is its narrower then the 16t was but as you can hear its making the noise to.
