Becasue the maximum charging rate is at 5A for the batteries. The Duo Can Charger two batteries
at 5A at the time, yes. The Two single chargers can charge at 5A too and it's AC/DC, thus I do not need a power supply. If The two single chargers are $279.99 combined And the Duo is $279.99 + $100 power supply then the two single chargers would be the obvious choice. Thanks!

the 0606i has an output of only 50 amps and with 20% less for effiency you will be charging your packs at about 4 amps per pack...unless you are strapped for cash I would buy the Duo IMO...the PITA factor outweighs the price difference....LOL
