The g-Revo is awesome, but it won't replace my e-maxx. If I had anything near a stock e-maxx, the electric revo would be the clear winner, but My g-maxx is an awesome race machine that performs to a level that is tough to beat. I have to much money, time and effort to simply move on. The Electric revo will be a force for sure, but it simply won't replace my g-maxx.

Horizon Hobby lists it as "mid November". Looks like there will be a little wait for it.

So Castle Creations says the Mamba is too small for this heavier mini truck, so I'm thinking of going with a Warrior 7018 and one of the finned Feigao 380c motors. Would this be a good setup or would I be better off with a 400 sized can? I'm thinking 10s or so...
I like the look of the finned 380s, I don't know if that style is available in 400 size or not. Not sure which would be a direct fit either...anyone know?
Does Mike sell any of the sub 540 motors? Is RC-Monster closing for xmas holidays at all?
Please tell me that's not smoke I see!

Most likely 540 size motors will not fit without modification. The 380C motors have 540 mounting holes. The standard 380 should fit.

They might get hot. Maybe dual 5400s would work, or else slightly larger motors running on dual Mamba 25 controllers.

It looks like a few companies may be working on 400 setups for the mini LST. An AON 4800 mamba 25 combo and a Warp4 2 turn and Mamba 25 combo. The Warp4 looks cool, I almost ordered one but might try and hold out until one is actually tested.

According to Richard T. of Team Losi they tried a single Mamba 2080 setup with 2s and 3s lipo's and said it moved it pretty good on 2s and blew a tire on 3s. This thread was on one18th.com, but i couldn't find it. If i find it, i will set a link for you
Work because i gotta, play because i wanna
People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

Hmm, i think its time for a 540 conversion. How's a Lehner 4200 Basic on 4 cells sound? Looks like the truck is sold enough to cope with it, given some cvd's and drive train upgrades it would be fine. Anyone agree? Now if anyone could supply gearing i'll get ready to start this project :).
Edit: looks like my controller needs 6 cells :(. I'll have to pass on this project

I'm thinking about getting a mini. It is either going to be the rc18t
or the mini LST. After seeing the new losi i think i have made my descion. This little truck looks almost exactly like a EMAXX.
