The pinion
should work. I'm worried about the same thing with my gearing. I definately wouldn't go any smaller. 65mph with a big truck takes huge power. I'm pretty sure I'm overgeared, but I want to put the kb45 through some torture. Just check temps often until you know the gearing is okay. Start a thread and show off your supermaxxes! We'll give ya crap for running smelly nitro, but we all love r/c!
