The pinion that meshes up to the diff looks like it's ready to let go under that power, have you considered replacing it?

Yes I have considered that - actually thinking of replacing the diff as well.

The motor runs cool it does not struggle hauling around a 25lb truck. You should have no problem in a stretched out Maxx truck.

Thanks for the input. It may be a few months before I can get it all setup, but I will post up when I do. I have four projects going at one time so my progress is slow. I just cannot focus on one project for too long, because I get burnt out. So I try to mixx it up and change projects from day to day. It keeps things interesting. I like your 1/5 scale project though. I hope to get into those next year for some fun. Keep up the good work and have fun.
