The 55t motors definately perform well on 3s. With a 5000 pack you will get about 1.5 hrs of runtime, possibly more!

I use 2100mah lipos in my 2.2 comp rig and it does at least 35-45mins. And that is with a big outrunner. With the low gearing and speeds crawlers are setup for they barely draw anything.
