Well I've got them no reason not to give them a go.I really generally only run 40-45.But my buddies both have MMM combo's and they like to get silly and run around 50,and I'm just not so good at letting them whip me.So inevitably I throw 6s in there without regearing,and inevitably I'm reglueing or replacing a tire.Life was just so much easier when I was stuck with 45 and 4s.
Whatever tire you choose, do yourself (and the tire) a favor and tape the tires and balance the wheel/tire combos.
Some ducktape works fine, one wrap with about 1 inch overlap is fine. I use a prop balancer and 2 part epoxy putty to balnce my wheels. The erevo with a 1515 1.5d and 19/50 gearing does about 45 mph and is just floats at that speed. Before the balancing the tires where throwing the truck around at 40...
