Hello,

Can I run my HV ESC with neu motor or medusa?
If so What I need to modify to make run this kind of motors :)


MMM v1 zippy 2x3s 5000mah neu 1y 1/8 diff's
MMM v3 Rc-monster 2x2s 5200mah-HC medusa 36-70-2300kv

Novak HV? Nope, it only runs sensored motors.

If/when Tekin releases sensored motors, you'll have a whole lot more motor choices for the HV.

The Novak HV Pro will only operate if Motors have internal Thermistors for Temperature protection.

None of the "other motors" out on the market, have any sort of motor thermal protecction. :(

In theory- I have a feeling a true 540XL sized motor in the ~2000kv region will pull alot more current than the hvmaxx is able to handle (~70amps or so), compared to the 380XL in 540XL's clothing it currently is mated to.
