Make a plate off of the motor mount and mount it opposite the motor on the transmission - It works very well...

Then mount the rx on the second tab in place of the second servo...

That will be my next course of action if things don't work out. However, I am hoping that the Revo BL edition MMM mount will work well to secure my ESC on top of the graphite plate above the rear shocks. If not then I will fabricate something to fasten it to the motor plate as you suggested...makes me wish I didn't sell all my dual motor mounts.
