I always order from McMaster, they have everything and then some. I see no sense in ordering screws from rc places that charge 1000% markups and more to put packages of screws together they only buy from McMaster or similar places themselves. Yeah I know the rc screw resellers separate them for you and put them in plastic cases you can get in bulk from the dollar store and add cheap little L style allen wrenches but come on..........

12.9 grade black oxide is 12.9 grade black oxide no matter where you get them, ASME controls the specs and standards, not the manufacturer.

Thanks for the other link Lito, I will check out boltdepot.com sometime as well.

I second that one. I went to their site last night and placed a $100 order for 1000 bulk screws of 12.9 steel. That should keep us busy here at the Hill household for a while without having to get more. I really like what they have and it is easy to place the orders. Thank you for the link Sir. I did the same thing with VXB bearings a while back and got a crapp load of stainless sealed bearings and they are great bearings, which a lot of the R/C suppliers get their supplies from. Except that I paid much less for them by skipping the middle man. We need all of the breaks that we can get in this hobby.
