you sir need to get out more
FIRST sends an email to companies who have overstock of stuff people dont want...and are willing to donate...and they stick it in the kit
been trying to get the GDC to allow brushless as a add on...but the "less fortunate" team would have a disadvantage. Im all for fairness...but C'MON

's what i was thikning.. and it just happens to be that the Neu 22xx series uses the same mounting holes and shaft diameter as the cim....

Y'all haven't seen Neu's 40XX series hav you? Maybe it was 44XX but there was a blurb on Neu's website about it. Nothing on Castle's site though.

They would never use these motors. And would probably never use sensorless brushless for 100lb robots seeing that cogging would casuse a major issue.

Holy cow, that motor is quite the brick.
Reminds me of the pancake motors people started using in battlebots...like these ones in vladiator(man that thing was crazy fast for how heavy it was):
